Hello all, it’s been a while!
Over the last two years I’ve been building up the business and Gabriella Grace Cakes has gone from strength to strength. However, the blog and website have taken a bit of a backseat. I am sooooo excited that the website has had a facelift, with a brand new gallery full of photos provided by some amazing professional photographers – check it out https://www.gabriellagracecakes.co.uk/gallery If anyone is looking for a photographer for their big day I will put links at the bottom of this post to the photographers that were used in my gallery.
I apologise for the lack of posts – it’s been a bit of a whirlwind and I cannot believe how different things are now. Gabriella Grace Cakes has gone from strength to strength and in the small time I have been making wedding cakes I am taking on more business than ever! I am fully booked for 2019 until October and 2020 has very limited availability for the summer, with some months already being fully booked! I am so fortunate to be in this position and am so happy that all my hard work seems to be paying off. I finally feel like I have found the path that I’m supposed to be on and am grateful for every client I meet and cake I make in the process.
I also have to thank my amazing fiance Mads who has supported me every step of the way – whether it’s encouragement, suggestions, cleaning the kitchen, keeping me company on deliveries or carrying heavy cakes I need to set up, he has been there with a smile on his face (well most of the time). I can’t tell you how lucky I am to have a supportive family who have believed in me from day one – when I said to them I was going to set up a wedding cake business with no formal training, experience or qualifications they could have laughed but their encouragement and advice has helped me so much. My parents, sisters and god-daughter Elle are regulars now at the wedding fayres I do and are well known by suppliers on the circuit – it is brilliant! Apologies for the soppy post and I promise I will stop now but sometimes I take the support for granted and just wanted to let them know that I do appreciate them.
So now the website is looking all new and shiny, I have promised myself I am going to post more on the blog. I’m not quite sure what people want to see so I’ll be posting some surveys on my social media stories to find out. I was thinking: news updates, upcoming wedding fayres, real life weddings, recommended suppliers, recipes, links to other blogs where my work has been featured etc. Hope that sounds good and I promise to be back blogging soon.
